Qiddiya Investment Company and the Human Resources Development Fund Announce a Strategic Agreement to Train 685 Young Men and Women in Entertainment and Hospitality

As part of joint efforts to enhance the skills of national talent and strengthen their readiness for the labor market, Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and the Human Resources Development Fund announced, during the last day of the TOURISE Forum, a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at training and qualifying 685 young Saudi men and women in the fields of entertainment, culinary arts, and hospitality, through training programs that lead to employment.

The agreement, signed earlier by Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Dawood, Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company, and Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jawini, Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund, falls under the Training Support Program, in accordance with the regulations and mechanisms of the Vocational and Specialized Training Path to Support Job-Linked Training for Job Seekers. This initiative focuses on developing specialized skills aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in the rapidly growing sectors of entertainment, tourism, and hospitality.

Under the agreement, both parties will contribute to the cost of the training programs, while a joint working team will be established to monitor implementation and ensure high-quality and efficient execution.

Commenting on the announcement, Muhannad AlDawood, Chief Strategy Officer at Qiddiya Investment Company, said:

“This agreement reflects QIC’s commitment to supporting the development of national talent and preparing them to work in promising sectors that form key pillars of the Kingdom’s economic future. We believe that investing in people is the most important investment, and through this partnership, we aim to empower young Saudi men and women with specialized skills that align with the remarkable transformation taking place across the Kingdom.”

This partnership underscores the shared commitment of both entities to empower Saudi talent with the skills necessary to enter the labor market and actively contribute to the growth of the Kingdom’s entertainment, tourism, and hospitality sectors.
