Qiddiya Investment Company and AlRajhi Bank Signs a Strategic Agreement

Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and AlRajhi Bank announced the signing of a five-year strategic partnership agreement, under which the bank becomes the Official Banking Partner and Premier Sponsor of Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia, two of the landmark attractions shaping the Kingdom’s next global destination for entertainment, sports, and culture.

The partnership, which will commence with the opening of Six Flags Qiddiya City, aims to integrate innovative payment solutions and advanced digital banking experiences across both destinations, ensuring visitors enjoy seamless and flexible payment and purchasing experiences. The agreement also includes prominent brand presence for AlRajhi Bank across a range of rides, attractions, and major events, in addition to exclusive naming rights for several of the flagship global experiences at Six Flags and Aquarabia.

Commenting on the agreement, Abdullah Nasser Al Dawood, Managing Director of Qiddiya Investment Company, said:

“This strategic partnership with AlRajhi Bank represents an advanced model of integration between the entertainment and financial services sectors. It contributes to delivering a seamless experience for visitors to Six Flags and Aquarabia, supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and further strengthens Qiddiya City’s position as a leading global destination.”

Waleed Al-Mogbel, Chief Executive Officer of AlRajhi Bank, emphasized the importance of this alliance in supporting national transformation efforts. He said, “Our partnership with Qiddiya City reflects our commitment to advancing the entertainment sector and enhancing large-scale visitor experiences. By integrating innovative digital and financial services into these iconic venues, we aim to contribute to the Kingdom’s growing position as a global hub for tourism and entertainment.”

Two of the most anticipated attractions will feature naming recognition from AlRajhi Bank. The world’s tallest tilt-coaster at Six Flags Qiddiya City will be named “Iron Rattler – Presented by AlRajhi Bank.” Aquarabia’s record-breaking water coaster, the tallest and longest of its kind, will carry the title “Junoon Drop – Presented by AlRajhi Bank.” These naming rights mark a significant milestone in the bank’s physical and digital presence at Qiddiya City.

Under the agreement, AlRajhi Bank will join the Tier-1 Premier Partners category for Qiddiya Seasons, which includes national celebrations and major seasonal events hosted by Six Flags and Aquarabia, such as Saudi Founding Day and Saudi National Day, in addition to other events held throughout the year.

As the Official Banking Partner, AlRajhi Bank will contribute to the parks’ financial infrastructure through integrated point-of-sale systems, branded digital receipts, ATMs, service points, and closed-loop gift cards. Visitors will also be able to purchase tickets directly via the AlRajhi Bank mobile application. The collaboration further extends to online channels through secure payment gateways for Qiddiya, Six Flags, and Aquarabia digital platforms.

This partnership sets a new standard for how financial services enhance entertainment ecosystems in Saudi Arabia. It brings easier, faster, and more secure payments to millions of visitors and supports the Kingdom’s broader ambition to elevate quality of life and attract global tourism as part of Vision 2030.
