Qiddiya City’s ESG vision is based on its overarching purpose of Now We Play, and is guided by these three themes below.

As a major regional development venture, Qiddiya City will be a key player in KSA’s Vision 2030 environmental sustainability objectives and its commitment to combat climate change. We seek to support national endeavors such as the Saudi Green Initiative and Green Riyadh Project, while ensuring valuable contribution to the UN SDGs.
PLAY TOGETHER
Better the lives of all people inside and outside Qiddiya City (e.g., visitors, residents, surrounding communities, employees).
As a major development in KSA, Qiddiya City will employ tens of thousands of workers, necessitating robust human and labor rights measures. We prioritize worker safety and well-being and strive for a diverse, inclusive workplace. We also strive to create an accessible, affordable destination that celebrates local heritage, while maintaining sustainable supply chain practices and addressing community expectations.

Effective corporate governance is essential for Qiddiya City's success and realizing its ESG vision. Targeting 100% wastewater treated and reused for City-wide landscaping.
WASTE
Targeting 94% landfill diversion of municipal solid waste by 2035 And 90% of organic waste collected and treated for reuse (i.e. compost) on site.
MOBILITY
Targeting 80% of parking slots with EV charging stations.
DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
Targeting 40% women in the workforce by 2030 and 30% women in leadership positions by 2030.
ACCESS AND AFFORDABILITY
Targeting 100% accessibility in designated public realms.
