MiSK and Qiddiya join forces to give young Saudis workplace training
12 interns will have the opportunity to train at Qiddiya this summer.
Riyadh, KSA, 24 March 2019 - Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MiSK) and Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) - the entity leading the development of Qiddiya, the Kingdom’s capital of entertainment, sports, and the arts - have launched the MiSK-Qiddiya Internship Programme. The programme will run from June 16 to August 31, 2019 and provides an opportunity for university seniors and recent graduates to play their part in transforming Saudi society and the economy, by being part of the development of a cutting-edge entertainment city. The successful interns will have the chance to work at Qiddiya’s corporate offices alongside talented professionals from around the world.
Interns will be placed across 12 departments at QIC: HR; Legal; Strategy; Infrastructure; Architecture and design; Hospitality; Technical services; Arts and Culture; Executive Project Management Office; Special Projects; Marketing; Sports and Wellness departments, where they will learn and develop skills that are required to succeed in their professional lives, including problem solving, critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration.
In addition to acquiring operational and technical skills, interns will gain exposure to QIC’s culture and learn from executives with over 20 years of experience across several sectors. The programme provides interns with invaluable career experience, as well as monetary compensation for their time and efforts.
MiSK Foundation, through this partnership, seeks to empower young Saudis; provide them with the necessary skills to become active participants in the development of their society; and identify young Saudi talent who will lead our economic development in the Kingdom’s future. The Foundation is keen to partner with local, as well as international organisations to accomplish this vital role.

Application to the programme is open for incoming seniors and fresh graduates with less than 2 years’ experience. Candidates must show high academic performance and submit a short video as part of the application process.
Once hired each of the 12 interns will be assigned a specific department, and a member of QIC to act as a mentor. Following an intensive induction, interns will work with their designated QIC teams as they complete their tasks and collaborate with all areas of the business.
