The Junior Commis Training programme equips participants with the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviors needed to thrive as a team member in a professional kitchen.

This programme equips participants with fundamental culinary skills, including knife techniques, vegetable preparation, and basic fish, meat, and poultry handling. Under supervision, trainees will learn cooking methods such as grilling, frying, baking, and braising, preparing them for entry-level positions like Junior Commis in Qiddiya's F&B establishments.

  • Vegetable and Ingredient Preparation 
  • Meat, Fish, and Poultry Preparation 
  • Cooking Methods 
  • Baking and Pastry Fundamentals 
  • Menu Planning and Basic Food Service

Programme objectives

  • Understand and apply key food safety and hygiene principles 
  • Develop proficiency in fundamental culinary techniques 
  • Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently as part of a team 
  • Target Position: Commis 2

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Saudi National
  • Education: High school certificate with a minimum of 60%
  • Years of experience: Not applicable
  • English Proficienecy: Minimum of IELTS Level 4
  • Availability: Full-time availability and commitment to attend the entire programme
  • Required documents: CV

Shortlisted applicants take the English Language Placement Test.

5. Interview
Successful applicants will go through a round of interviews.

Successful applicants will receive an email confirming their enrollment, along with additional programme-specific details.
