    Michael Reininger

    Michael Reininger is at the helm of Qiddiya Investment Company as the Chief Executive Officer, having left his position as Executive Director of Florida East Coast Industries (FECI) for the opportunity to join this once-in-a-lifetime project. He was also President and Chief Development Officer for Brightline, which created the first private sector intercity express passenger rail system in the United States in over a century. No stranger to big entertainment and leisure projects, he previously led the development of several major new businesses during a 12-year tenure with subsidiaries of The Walt Disney Company, including Disneyland Paris Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Disney Vacation Club, which he initiated. He has also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer for AECOM and Senior Vice President for the largest landowner and developer in the State of Florida – the St. Joe Company.

    Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Remaihi

    Having worked in Human Resources (HR) for more than 24 years, Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Remaihi is leading Qiddiya’s recruitment and talent management strategy, so that we can find the best people to grow our team and bring this unique project to life. Before joining Qiddiya, Abdulaziz spent 11 years at Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City in Riyadh as Director of the Human Resources Department. He has also held HR roles at Prince Sultan Military Medical City, Alawwal Bank and GlobeMed Saudi, a leading healthcare benefits management company.

  • Almamoun Alshingiti

    Almamoun Alshingiti

    A former Saudi national athlete and a strategy and development professional with almost 20 years of global experience, Almamoun Alshingiti is the team captain of our sports development team. He was a member of the Saudi national karate team for many years and competed at World Championship level. Almamoun has played integral roles in the development of the Kingdom’s sporting strategy, with a particular focus on the National School Sports Strategy. A multitalented individual, he is not only a champion athlete, but he’s also fluent in Arabic, English, French, German and Spanish.

    Bruce Snyder

    Bruce Snyder has a special knack for numbers. The finance, investment, and operations expert has over three decades of experience under his belt, in both public and private sector companies around the world, where he spearheaded financial operations. He has worked with companies such as Florida East Coast Industries, Related Companies, numerous subsidiaries of Rio Tinto, St. Joe Commercial, and many more, and has a proven ability to optimize return on investment through the implementation of mergers and acquisitions, and recapitalization strategies. Bruce’s perceptiveness and versatility allow him to be the strategic thinker that he is, and his ability to anticipate scenarios in advance is an integral skill to possess if you’re part of the finance sector.

    Charalampos Chaitas

    Charalampos Chaitas breathes art and history. He is a world-renowned museologist who loves delving into the past and exploring history, as well as looking into the future and identifying risks before they become problems, as he develops new cultural organizations. Charalampos has spent the last 20 years operating and managing cultural and heritage institutions in several countries. Before he joined Qiddiya he was the Director of Operational and Management Consultancy at one of the world’s most famous museums - the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Charalampos is also a guest lecturer at universities around the world, and in what little spare time he has, he contributes to scientific publications as editor, reviewer and author.

     

  • Faisal Almothier

    Faisal Almoither

    Faisal manages executive operations, finance, and program management for the CEO where he believes in taking responsibility and achieving results. Faisal started his career at the General Organization for Social Insurance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and held several senior positions there including the Director of Registration and Contributions, which includes supervising 22 branch offices throughout the Kingdom. He also headed the Program Department for the Labor and Social Development Sector at ELM and received his education at many of the world's best universities. He holds an MBA from the University of Eastern Michigan and also studied at Harvard and Stanford Universities.

  • Khalid AlAseeri

    Khalid AlAseeri

    As Qiddiya’s legal expert, Khalid ensures that Qiddiya navigates safely through laws and regulations it is exposed to. Prior to Qiddiya, Khalid served as General Counsel at Almarai the region’s largest food and beverage company, and the National Center for Performance Measurement, Adaa, where he had a front row seat at the unveiling of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. As one of the few Saudis who has obtained a Juris Doctorate, passed the bar exam and is licensed to practice law in the US, Khalid has been in demand. Over the last 15 years, he has held positions in some of the world’s top organizations including Saudi Aramco, Bechtel, and White & Case. In addition to legal roles, Khalid also has also been involved in theatrical roles, where he acted and co-wrote productions between Ithra and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.

    Matthew Priddy

    Matthew Priddy is an award-winning design, engineering, manufacturing and overall project management professional. Over the last three decades he has worked for global large-scale projects including Dubai Parks and Resorts, Disney parks worldwide (including Disney MGM Studios in Florida, Tokyo Disney Seas, Disney’s California Adventure, etc.) and nearly 40 various themed attractions, location venues and museums. As Producer of Motiongate's Dreamworks Land, Dubai Parks and Resorts he received the 2018 Thea Award for "Best New Land" for "How To Train Your Dragon. We’re hoping he brings his magic touch to Qiddiya along with his production expertise, team building skills and vast experience in his field.

    Michael Cox

    Working with developers, investors and contractors on a day-to-day basis is nothing new for Michael Cox. He is a versatile and commercially astute executive, with two decades of experience in the realm, showcasing demonstrable success in semi-government, public and private-owned real estate entities, Michael has a proven track record of leading high-quality real estate developments from design inception to successful completion. He has played an instrumental role in the development of global icons such as redevelopment of the Shanghai World Expo, Emirates Entertainment District, Al Raha Beach City, Al Raha Gardens, the ALDAR corporate HQ, and more. He has worked across the globe in countries such as Singapore, China, UAE, the Philippines as well as Saudi Arabia, and thus, works well in diverse environments. Adaptivity, flexibility and a drive to achieve results are some of his key attributes.

    Mike Hernandez

    Turning a simple piece of land into a state-of-the-art venue or facility is a tough task but one that Mike Hernandez is an expert at. The commercial real estate and residential development professional has been behind the success of multiple international mega projects including King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), Al Marjan Island and many more. At Emaar, the largest real estate development company in the Middle East, he played an integral role in the development of Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and was also responsible for managing the design development of the Coastal Towers – KSA’s luxury mixed-use development along the Red Sea beachfront. Hernandez has also worked closely with the governments of several countries on real estate projects, including Morocco and the United Arab Emirates.

    Salman H. Al-Hubeis

    Salman Al-Hubeis has 22 years of experience in the Project Management Organisation of Saudi Aramco. To lead the Qiddiya Project Management Office and keep our immense project on track, he draws from his extensive experience in managing complex projects such as the Manifa Oil Field and the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center. Through his postings at home and abroad, Salman has developed well-recognised leadership skills and an in-depth understanding of project management and implementation.

    Sami Al-Jasser

    Sami Al-Jasser has a special flair for understanding the bigger picture. He has years of project and programme management experience under his belt including time working on the delivery of the Khurais Mega Project, which was the world’s greatest crude oil increment at its time. Other successes include delivering the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre (KAPSARC), plus leading in the development of King Salman’s International Complex for Maritime Industries and Services Program, considered to be one of the largest integrated full-service maritime facilities in the region.

    Vikram Chopra

    Vikram Chopra directs the development of our entertainment offering at Qiddiya—so the harder he works, the more fun everyone will have! His many credits include 28 years of experience working on entertainment and leisure projects around the world. He has also worked on mixed-use, residential, airport and port projects collectively valued at more than US$10 billion. Major completed projects include Dubai Parks & Resorts - Phase 1, Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, Universal Studios in Japan, Disneyland California, Long Beach Convention Center, Los Angeles International Airport, The Port of Los Angeles and The Pelican Hill Resort in California.

    Wadi Abiani

    A global marketing strategist who has worked in Europe and the Middle East for over 20 years, Wadi Abiani is experienced in corporate planning, regional and international market development, and strategic channel management. Wadi has held senior positions at Oracle Corp., the Government of the UAE, Dubai International Financial Centre, MASDAR and Abu Dhabi Ports Company. Most recently he was Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Communications at Dubai South. Wadi has also been Chairman of Art Dubai, one of the top five art fairs in the world.

    William (Bill) J. Barbino

    Bill Barbino is all about getting things done. With a background in business development and finance, he possesses strong quantitative financial, operational and strategy development skills with a proven track record of achieving results. Bill joins Qiddiya from Washlava, a mobile payments platform company he co-founded that focused on the self-service laundromat industry.  With an MBA from New York University and over 20 years of experience working on Wall Street and LaSalle Street, he is ready to bring his leadership skills to the strategy group to design and articulate enterprise-level business cases for new initiatives, programmes, and processes in terms of their value and how they impact the whole business.
